I overfilled my converter so now I have some J Herbin Stormy Grey in my nailbed.

I'll come up with something eventually.

I have a little bit remaining of Iroshizuku Kon-peki remaining on my fingers, from dipping my nib a wee bit too deep in the ink and splashing.

Sailor Bungu Box Sweet Potato Purple on my fingers while refilling my Kawaco Sport with its teenie, tiny converter. I love this ink!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

For me it's a bit of De Atramentis Van Dyck Brown. Love the color, but it's not super well behaved in the 1990s era Pelikan M400 it's in -- I can't tell if there are a lot of air bubbles in the pen, but it has been skippy; and when I moved the piston up a bit, I got it too far and really juiced up the nib as a result (so really wet and blobby on the page). Accidentally flicked the pen, so I now have a half inch long Van Dyck Brown stripe on my left middle finger, angling up just under the knuckle.

But hey, it's on my hand and not on the sheets....

Reminds me of when I picked up a fountain pen as a child and twirled it, having seen someone do that with a ballpoint on TV. I think some of the spots are still there.

I'm still pretty new to all this. I'm using dip pens, but still manage to ink myself up. My wife has now started asking me "Did you even attempt to wash your hands?" To which I reply with a sarcastic yes. But it's nice to see it's not just me! Hooray for inky fingers! (Oh, and I'm sporting black and brown spots today.)

Today it's Yama-budo -- a couple of stripes across my left index finger pad, trying to get the pen started back up. Couldn't tell if it's drying out too much in the new Decimo and being a hard-starter, being cloggy just because of being in the red/purple family, or if I'm getting low on ink.

Iro Ku-Jaku; small dabs on pad of right index finger and thumb from filling the Aqua Pelikan M205 in fine (gorgeous color match, and I couldn't be happier with my wife's Christmas gift).

And this in spite of my usual Lenten ink fast of only black ink. I'm going to be bringing it to the shop where she bought it, to express my appreciation for it, and her, and to sign the guestbook, in hopes of inspiring other customers to get some of this lovely ink (that, in spite of not being one of the Six Essential Inks for Writing, is going to stay in my ink wardrobe for as long as the pen does).

eta: Oh, and Borealis Black. I shoulda known better than to try that method for ensuring I was topped up on a Hero 616; it only works on piston fillers....

Diamine Anniversary Tudor Blue, but mostly gone now though after washing my hair. Trying to decide if I'm going to refill the pen it's in (TWSBI 580-al Pink), refill with distilled water, or flush the ink in favor of something else (I love the color but have a lot of other inks to try).

Birmingham Phipps Conservatory Verbena. I was a little messy filling my new Cross Townsend pen. I had the F nib changed to an EF as I love Townsends but they write wider than I like.

Just took off my cast yesterday. It was on my left hand, so no pens for 3 weeks :(

Now I got montblanc Irish green on my fingers, because my Waterman Carène is burping constantly :D

Left hand pilot iroshizuku yu-yake, right hand Diamine oxblood. I am kinda clumsy today.

If you win over your own stupidity then are you winner or loser? In any case it means something good.
