Today it's been Diamine Shimmertastic Blue Pearl.

That was supposed to be last week's Ink of the Week for me, but I

[a] had to mostly do bookkeeping, which called for finer nibs than the 1 mm nib on a Pelikan M100; and

was someplace for a week with zero internet access (and had trouble with the hotel wifi on the trip home, and then spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday recovering, so this is the first time I've gotten a chance to read FPN since March 9th.... :gaah:

Haven't even really figured out THIS week's IotW, and it's already Thursday evening.... :wallbash:

Bung Box Ink of Naotora, trying to get that plastic thingy out of the bottle & the remains of Visconti Blue from refilling the previous pen.

I felt like a change of pace for my M101N Tortoiseshell Red – it doesn't always have to sport a red ink. So I flushed the FPN Voltaire Candide Vermilion to fill with Pelikan Königsblau (which actually came with the pen).

Inexplicably, I now have a bright red left index fingernail. Mystery to me.

Pelikan Edelstein Tanzanite ...

Me too!

Filling one of the new M405s that came on Thursday, the Striated Blue (the Stresemann got Edelstein Amethyst). Still a tiny bit on my right thumb.

Sheaffer Turquoise, changing the cartridge. The Slovak carts stick in the barrel so I have to fashion a hook out of a paper clip to pull it out.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Noodler's North African Violet. On my right middle knuckle, of all places. Oh, and a bit of Waterman Mysterious Blue on my right thumb from last night.

Some black Quink (I know, I know. But it works for me :)), some Skrip blue-black, and a tiny bit of Noodler's Starry Night.

my hands are currently sporting an unfortunate teenage vampire look, disturbingly blood spattered yet oddly iridescent from not paying too much attention filling a vacuum filler with brandy dazzle to realise it was a full bottle.

it looks like i have suffered serious injury while turning a fetching gold colour in the light. did wash off a bit until i decided it wasn't quite full enough and did it again 😀luckily i dont have to go anywhere for a bit

More Starry Night than I really should (how did I make this mess?), and some Pilot Varsity purple. That one had hardly been used after I bought the pen eight years ago, and it's started right up.

Just cleaned out three pens, so I got Kingdom Note Rosalia batesi on my skin. You can clearly see the feed imprint where I pressed it against a towel...

But once I ink them up again, who knows!

I'll come up with something eventually.
