You don't get to choose a kitty. You get appointed to keep it in the lifestyle to which it would like to become accustomed. In return you get purrs, warm laps and kitty hairs in your tea/coffee.

I know that is very true. I've been a cat custodian for more than 40 years. Jasper's predecessor, Marco the Magnificat was a long-haired tuxedo kitty who was with me for almost 19 years.

Just opened my new bottle of Aurora black. When I removed the cap, they had a plastic insert in it and removing that blackened my thumb. I am sad to say that ink is more waterproof on the skin than it is on paper. But I still think it is a great black.

Kobe #51. Turns out the cartridge in the test pen had a tiny split in the collar and the ink had leaked out into the barrel. Just a few inky fingers, could've been much worse.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Some Iroshizuku Yama-Budo. Got the bottle in the mail this morning. Hurry = stains, that's it.

Graf von Faber-Castell Hazelnut Brown from filling my Lamy 2000. It is a terrific brown ink I use along with Diamine Chocolate and Waterman Havana as my primary browns

When filling up my Metropolitan with a syringe from a vial I fumbled quite a lot and now my hands are all covered in 54th Massachusetts...

So far today it's a bit of diluted Diamine Oxford Blue. I'm amazed that even after refilling the pen (a Noodler's Konrad) *twice* with distilled water -- because of being lazy about flushing -- the ink is still a very nice medium blue, and not yet washed out to the point of illegibility.

Sadly, though, when it's [that] diluted you don't get the lovely red sheen. :crybaby:
