Sailor Jentle Ink dark green. Did some tine aligning with the inked pen. Was a successful (and colourful) endeavour.

Waterman mysterious blue. On my fingers, splotches on the sofa and the carpet... I managed to knock it when putting the cap back on just enough to slop some over the rim.

(I did see that it looks massively different with a dip pen than with a fountain pen, much greener).

Something grayish black. No clue what. I had a Sheaffer Snorkel rehabbed last weekend at the Triangle Pen Show, and filled it with some vintage Skrip Peacock, just because. Only the color coming out of the pen seemed really dark (and not just because it's a stub). So when it ran out of ink this morning, while doing my morning journal, I noticed that there was this odd dark (and not Peacock colored!) smudge on the side of my finger. And upon checking, found the same color on the threads of the pen, and inside the cap....

I've refilled the pen with distilled water for now, but when I go to flush it out for real, I'm going to have to probably soak or scrub the insides of the cap as well.

Hmmmm...I'm not sure which color this might be.

My Chesterfield inks arrived from xFountainPens today. The mailman was not happy. At all.

He had quarantined my package in a box they use to tote mail. Lots of lovely blue-colored ink floating around in there.

More than a little bit on the mailman.

I took the package out, put it in the sink, and opened it.

One of the bottles opened up in transit. So ink spilled over all the contents. None of the labels are legible.

Akkerman #21 Chinatown Red, after emptying and cleaning my TWSBI Vac Mini. I tried to resolve the known ink starvation issue (which strangely enough have only affected my usage recently) bu removing the rubber stopper that forces you to unscrew the piston turning knob before longer writing sessions. I think it worked, I wrote three A5 Leuchtturm pages for today's journal entry, although I am a bit worried about a possible drying out at the end. The pen's new ink is Domain 1864 Blue Black.

Your hands remind me of Night Sapphire, or possibly Antique Yankee. WOW :yikes: I hope my shipment does not have this problem, for I ordered (8) bottles.

Jinkies. Well, I begin to appreciate the way Goulet bundles everything up individually to at least mitigate these kinds of disasters. Sorry about your leaky bottle. And grumpy mail carrier. :(

Yama-budo. The nib popped out of my Herbin rollerball at work without my noticing. When I picked it up to write something, I was like "whoa!"

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Cactus Fruit Eel. Took a sample vial with me on a trip and tried to fill the pen (Pilot VP) without a proper blotching paper...

Oku-Yama is more interesting than I first thought - the color is nice and the ink is very well-behaved on the cheap copy paper at work (always a plus). My initial impression was likely colored by irritation at having it all over my hands.
