Huzzah, finally got around to another bottle of Hero Blue-Black, which is my go-to work ink.

My new (to me) Filcao still will not reveal where it is leaking, so my fingers and hand continue to have lots of Namiki Blue coverage.

At this rate, the pen will be empty soon, and I'll be able to switch to a different color. ;)

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

I swung by the Great Wall of Ink yesterday and picked up some Private Reserve Sonic Blue, and some Lamy Turquoise. Preeettty.

I did not think that turquoise would be a color for me but I had an old bottle of Sheaffer Peacock Blue and I'm finding that I enjoy this color very much.

Today, blue-ish; a mixture of Noodler's Liberty's Elysium, and Akkerman's Nassaus Blauw.

Yeah, vintage Skrip Peacock is something else, isn't it? Although it is *really* hard to get off one's hands....

Weirdly, at the moment my hands are really free of ink.

I got into a fight with a bottle of Chesterfield Ancient Jade. Needless to say, I did not win. http://i.imgur.com/9AeHrHW.jpg

Real talk though, if anyone has tips for removing stains. It's everywhere. My checkbook is a goner, and the desk looks like it's bleeding green.

Inks (Always willing to trade samples, PM me!): Noodler's Rome Burning, Noodler's Henry Hudson Blue, , J. Herbin Poussiere de Lune, P.W. Akkerman Laan Van Nieuw Oost-Indigo, Chesterfield Antique Slate, Chesterfield Antique Shamrock, Chesterfield Antique Jade, Chesterfield Antique Orchid, Chesterfield Capri, De Atramentis Apricot, De Atramentis Alexander Hamilton, J. Dark blue-green from Sailor Miruai from early this morning. Note to self: don't ink pens while still half asleep. That, or I need to have inked pens so much that I can do it half asleep without staining my fingers.

Fingers on both hands.

Partial palm.

Both calves.

Left foot.

Pretty much every Diamine shimmertastic except the two blacks and some Beau Blue.

I managed to get Private Reserve DCSSB on my hands today, filling my Sheaffer Imperial. I *think* there might be some sort of blue ink on my thumb left over from messing around with my desk set yesterday.

Iroshizuku Murasaki-shikibu. A friend / coworker gave me a new Pilot Metropolitan, yesterday: violet leopard, so I figured a nice purple ink would go well.

My little cousin managed yesterday to open one of my pens and stain a half of her hand with a mix of Visconti Blue and Waterman Inspired Blue (a colour similar to Diamine Asa Blue). Then she wrote a few words for me. She has caught the bug :) The first thing she wanted to do today was to go and buy a fountain pen for herself. She wants to be a copy of me, what is a bit scary...

Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku. The top of the cap on the bottle cracked/broke off and I got a head dosing while refilling my Pilot VP. I don't care though! It's my favorite ink!

Iroshizuku Ko Peki - after changing the nib on an India Ebonite Eyedropper. Now the nib is smooth and I am pleased!

Edlestein Amethyst because that is today's note taking ink. And for those curious the pen is a Reform 1745

Don't mind me, I like to ramble... A LOT

Hmm, moved both Oxblood and Teal from Baoer 388 mediums to 388 fines, flushed Evergreen from another and put Cacao du Bresil into a Parker Frontier. I must be getting better at this as I didn't get a lot of ink on my fingers.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.
