Kobe #14 Maya Lapis is now on my hands and legs! We were having a little Las Vegas Pen Posse at Amberlea's office. I was recapping some of her Maya Lapis after a filling a Sailor pen with a Concord Emperor nib. I must have cross-threaded it, because it came dripped out onto my hands and since I was wearing shorts, legs.

 

After that, I was the designated pen filler, so there are several other ink colors as well, but Maya Lapis is the dominant one.

 

We did have a good pen posse though, and finished with pizza at my favorite pizza place.

I usually manage to keep my fingers ink free, but not today. I've got Diamine Eau de Nil on most of my fingers and there's some Oxblood & Red Dragon too

My hands are all colors of the ink rainbow because I finally sat down and made ink swatches out of Maruman Word Cards. Now I know I have too many bottles of ink!

Also, Noodler's Fox. That's an eye-catching red.

My fingers are Diamine Majestic Blue after swapping the stock nib on my Jinhao x750 for a Goulet F... but it didn't help that I drained the ink from it first and then spilled the ink bottle.

Bungbox Piano Mahogany. A beautifully complex brown ink with deep magenta undertones which has exceeded expectation.

I was a little too eager this afternoon to try out another 180 that had just arrived. I didn't check to see whether the converter would fit in the barrel. It didn't, and I got ink all over my fingers.

Noodlers Bay State Blue. I usually wear disposable gloves when I'm filling my TWSBI 580Al with it. Decided that I didn't need to this time as I was only a quick refill. WRONG! Now I have lots of blue stripes across both hands.
