What Color Are Your Fingers Today?

I continue to have a fair bit of Edelstein Amethyst on my fingers after trying to adjust an inked nib.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Nothing today, but a few days ago I had a blotch of Liberty's Elysium and a smear of Diamine Matador on my hands.

Here to help when I know, learn when I don't, and pass on the information to anyone I can :)

I'm going to fill my Montegrappa Miya with Asa Gao and I'm quite sure that at least one finger will be blue soon .......

  • 2 weeks later...

Iroshizuku take-sumi and asa-gao, Diamine Bilberry and Wild Strawberry, R&K Alt-Goldgrun, PR Avacado, J. Herbin Perle Noir and Quink blue.

It's been an interesting day, but I think I have finally sorted out the constant ink on the section and in the cap of my P51 and can inform the vendor who sold me a stub nib that the unusable scratchiness is definitely their nib, not my Bexley.

I've neglected my pens for a while. Today was the start of some cleaning and refilling. So, as I write, right-hand = Diamine Sapphire, Autumn Oak and a splash of Salamander; left-hand = Lie de The and Grenade. I like that the Diamines all stuck together, tribal inks!

Those who hurt me were not only someone else,

but also those who pretended not to notice. It was my friend.

Sheaffer Skrip Red, Diamine Midnight, Damson, Tyrian Purple and Meadow (just received these lovely inks, and I like swabbing with my fingers...so much fun!)

I have cleaned and inked a few pens, so...Diamine Bilberry, Eau de nil and Jet black, and RK Verdigris. Topped it off with a healthy dose of Noodler's Stockholm Indigo from changing nibs on a half-full Lamy Safari.

I have most every MB ink on my hands today. MB sent out an email saying bring in your pens, we'll check them, and you'll get a free refill. I took all my MBs to the local Boutique. Three had ink, the rest were clean and empty. I used their sample bottles to fill and test them. So I have Mystery Black, Midnight blue-black, blue, toffee brown, Burgundy Red, Lavender Purple, Irish green, and Oyster Grey on my hands. They didn't have Corn Poppy Red out. Now I have to do a lot of writing to empty those pens.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Most of my pen-related problems are not too bad. The ink all came off when I shampooed my hair. Of course, my hair has some "sheen", now.
