Diamine Hope Pink. Which is very lurid, but I like it!

Actually managed to get much less ink on my fingers this time. Just a tiny blob, as I experimented with using a syringe to fill an empty cartridge instead of dipping nib in bottle w/ a converter. Syringe filling is definitely the way to go for me. :)

Once I got my syringe I was hooked. I find it to be neater and just more convenient for me overall. I only bypass it occasionally (if I am being lazy).

They're clean today, but Friday they were blue-black (yes, I'm predictably boring) from Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. I was grinding a pair of Romus Majestics down to an extra-fine accountant's point for my wife and a fine/medium italic for myself. She was, by the way, quite happy with her $6.00 XFA pen when I was done.

Welcome aboard, Portia. I have a Baoer 3040 medium with which I'm quite pleased, it is very smooth right out of the box.

Penman Sapphire.

And the question is what were they?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black. I was refilling my 400 with the OB nib, and thought I'd wiped around the section well enough. But now there seems to be ink going into the cap because every time I've used the pen today there was ink on the section. And on the piston cap when I posted the pen. And inside the cap.

I thought I'd filled the pen up completely, but the weather is improving so maybe there's an air pressure issue. :( Or I didn't fill it as much as I thought (the barrel is not as translucent as on my newer M400 Brown Tortoise).

Today I learned that Diamine Monaco Red looks a good bit like blood when it gets on skin.

I have never seen those Parker carts before. What are they?

I believe that those are the fabled Parker Penman Sapphire cartridges. I have a bottle or two of the ink somewhere. My cartridges are long gone.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

No ink on my fingers today but I am expecting several ink bottles in the mail this week so they might be colourful in a near future.

A tiny bit of vintage Waterman Bleu des Mers du Sud on my right index finger from filling my Lamy. A lot of Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo on my left hand from refilling my TWSBI Vac700
