Some horrible shades of blue and green. My hands are stained extensively as I received two eBay purchased pens today that were shipped full of ink. Ugh!

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Blue-black today, specifically Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. I cleaned the feed on my Dad's Parker 51 and will note that BB Kingfisher is, indeed a permanent ink: Lava soap won't get rid of it.

I am a billboard for the two packages that arrived this morning by post. One finger is sporting Parker 51 Pan Am Green ( a vintage bottle described as "all dried up inside") that I am trying to restore with distilled water. I can't understand WHY only 1 finger BUT I am grateful it is so. The other hand is sporting a good swab worth of Sailor's Bung Box Expresso.

I received four bottles of BB this morning from the "nicest Pen Store in Arkansaw" & only one bottle had suffered a bit of leakage inside the box which was further protected by a cellophane slipcase that had been obviously installed in Japan. The inside of the box caught the damage & it was not any big deal BUT in cleaning off the bottle I will be looking "expressed" for awhile! (The poor kitchen sponge is still wearing some faded Noodler's Park Red so @ least it has company with the expresso) 1 Green "Paw" with the other "Paw" Dark brown!

Ha! Me too.

There's Skrip Permanent Blue from a poorly packed eBay purchase. What little ink wasn't absorbed by the original box or the packaging ended up on my hand. Oh well.

Then there's a *beautiful* turquoise from an Esterbrook 444 Dip-Less set I'm cleaning. I'd love to know what the ink well was filled with--I'd buy a quart.

For me it was diluted Montblanc Lavender Purple, trying to get a slightly clogged pen started back up this morning.

Iroshizuku murasaki shikibu. Filling my Montegrappa Symphony Parchment, I let two of my fingers come on the ink bottle cap .....

Just did a dip test on a Baoer 388, to see how it writes, and even though I was super careful, I've ended up with Herbin Eclat de Saphire all over my fingers. Gah!

But the good news is the Baoer is smooth. :)

Noodler's Liberty's Elysium. Hadn't used it in a while and am reminded of what a nice blue this is.

Sailor Jentle Gernade. The two times I've used it I've ended up with ink all over my hands (my fault not the pen or theirs). ;)

I am trying to mix MB Toffee Brown with something else because I got too bored of it.

2 part distilled water + 1 part Toffee Brown = Herbin Terre de Feu hehehe

Today there's just a wisp of Noodler's Liberty's Elysium that apparently got caught in the threads of my Gama Raja. Yesterday was more of the same (accidental ink burping due to trying to tap prime a low on ink eyedropper is no fun...) and a few days ago I had a little bit of Noodler's BSIAR on my fingers.

The last big ink catastrophe I had was with Private Reserve D.C. Supershow Blue on Christmas Eve. Pro tip- when it's late and you're tired, don't try to prime an aerometric filling pen. It will give you a large dermal ink stain.

Here to help when I know, learn when I don't, and pass on the information to anyone I can :)

Iroshizuku Syo-Ro I use it every day at work, it is my perfect every day ink and I always manage to get it on my fingers when I refill
