I always have trouble with my bottle of Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. Can't ink a pen up with that without wearing it.

Dribs and drabs of three of my wife's new inks -- Midway Blue, Bad Black Mocassin, and Widow Maker. And some leftover Chesterfield Archival Vault (Diamine Registrar's) and possibly a smear of Borealis Black.

Why, yes, I did fill four different new Noodler's pens in need of tinkering for the first time today.

Waterman's Absoute Brown.

Odd how bulletproof N. Heart of Darkness will wash off, and this one won't.

It has to wear off.

Today has been pretty good -- just some unknown black ink, likely Quink (but I don't know for certain) that's still in the capillary filler on the turquoise 6, making sure the pen was starting: I ran some more distilled water through it last night, and am still flushing -- and writing with -- the old ink.

OTOH, my bathroom vanity might be permanently stained with Noodler's QSH from flushing out a pen on Thursday :o -- and I think that was with the ink diluted with distilled water to make the fill last longer because I didn't have time to flush it before now....

Try Lava soap with a pumice stone or an all-fabric bleach (peroxide based) with a pumice stone. :) Good luck!

Noodle's Black Swan in Australian Roses. I just cleaned a pen and put it in. I was not neat about filling the cartridge and cleaning the nib off.

Pink! Nothing leaked and I haven't filled anything today.

J. Herbin Lie de The. Was adjusting the nib of a Kaweco frankepen (Kaweco Luxe Sport with a 14K gold Chinese Duke nib). Don't mind the blues or reds on my hands, but the browns and sepias look like dirt. Maybe add some nice ink from one of my other pens?

BSB in the first knuckle of my right bird-finger. My TWSBI Classic is seeping ink from the section-barrel joint again. Sigh.

Sailor Oku Yama after filling a Sailor Sapporo. The white thing in the lid of the bottle was stuck on the top of the bottle and when I removed it ink came on my fingers and my white table. It was much easier to remove the ink from the table than from my fingers.

Earlier, I had a mix of inks on my hands.... Quink black, Diamine Chocolate Brown, Diamine Ancient Copper, Noodlers BSIAR.. I cleaned out five pens and somehow got all the inks on my hands in the process. After cleaning them, I've only refilled one.. my gold Pilot Metropolitan with Diamine Chocolate Brown (and did not get any ink on my fingers in the refilling process).

Now, after making dinner, there is no ink left on my fingers at all.

I decided I did not want to spend the rest of my day trying to get ink out from under my fingernails and the groves on my fingers, so I wrapped a cloth around the ink bottle, and my hands are clean (for a change) :D

Well it is now later in the afternoon, and my wish did not last long. Fingers are purple with Chesterfield Amethyst!

Trying out Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris for the first time and goem some on my fingers while wiping ink off the nib section. This is an interesting color to write with. Is it green? blue? gray?
