What Color Are Your Fingers Today?

Chesterfield Emerald - got it underneath the fingernails on the left hand. After several handwashings, nails are still fairly green. Just a mess--was too much in a hurry.

I just got a Noodler's Ahab and loaded it with Noodler's Habanero...my fingers are orange right now. With all the adjustments and tweeks required for these Ahabs, my fingers may very well stay orange for seveal days to come.

Diamine Eau de Nil. It gushed in my Creaper so I had to adjust it and I have blue all over me. Smart that I wasn't using Yama-dori--don't want to waste a drop of that.

A whole lot of Asa-gao and Take-sumi. I was doing some mixing.

I'm clean but my son spilled my sample of Edelstein Aventurine on the oak floor. It's not pretty.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

A couple of Noodler's highlighter inks: Georgia Peach and Lightning Blue. Plus maybe pink from some random brand of highlighter marker (because the Georgia Peach ran out and I don't have more, and foolishly -- or perhaps optimistically -- left the Kuretake brush pen with Dragon Catfish Pink in it at home). And keeping my fingers crossed on the brush pen with the Lightning Blue, because I have apparently lost the cap on this trip... (so far there's enough ink in it that I can squeeze that brush pen to keep the brush and feed going and not dry out, but I still have something like 100 more pages to go through of what I've been having to read -- and I wasn't able to do much this afternoon, and probably won't have time to do any tomorrow until we get back to NYC. And then Friday is *another* travel day.... :wallbash: And Saturday I'm expecting to be pretty busy, and Sunday is yet *another* travel day.

And yes, I should have been reading that instead of FPN, but after the last couple of days I *need* to be on here so I can safely blow off steam -- and not ax murder a large portion of my husband's family.... Although I strongly suspect that my sister-in-law's husband could mabe be counted on to help dispose of the bodies....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

IF it helps, I live across from a cemetery... not wait, that's not helpful.

A sickly blue, but it's from -27C temps not my pens....they're staying warm indoors now. They have more sense than I do.
