At the moment, my fingers are totally clean. Perhaps because I just left my bed 15 minutes ago ...... Well, we'll see how they will be et the end of the day ........ ;-)

Lol @Steve J! :)

I'm like a smurfette atm-Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher...what a better spillage than permanent ink...quality!

There's been a fair amount of Noodler's Kung Te Cheng recently -- it's decided that it's going to misbehave and be cloggy. And there is still something on my right thumb from a couple of days ago (making the whorls in my thumbprint stand out) that I think is Noodler's Whaleman's Sepia -- even Ink Nix couldn't clean all of it up....

Oh, man, I hate when KTC misbehaves because it's so resilent. My hands are look clean, but my cuticles are stained with Edelstein Aventurine. UCK

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I brought a small nalgene bottle of distilled water with me -- I may end up refilling the pen (one of my Konrads) directly.

Really need to actually do a controlled experiment to see how much distilled water to add directly to a sample vial with a measured amount of KTC in it one of these days. I actually prefer the color when it's more saturated (more blue violet/indigo) than diluted (more purple) but undiluted it gets cloggy and nib creep something fierce.

But I love it for when I have to address envelopes or writing checks (the woman in the bank a couple of weeks ago asked if it was purple or blue when I was dealing with some paperwork (these days banks tend to get huffy about anything that isn't filled out in blue or black, but I can get away with using KTC...).

After cleaning & changing nibs my fingers are stained with Chesterfield Xircon, Siam & Cobalt. The grooves in my thumb print are heavily stained. Have scrubbed them twice, so next I will try some fingernail polish remover!

I bought my very first bottle of Montblanc ink to celebrate fountain pen day and I opened it up at the office. Toffee Brown, very nice. Decided to bring it home to my writing desk. Apparently it didn't like the trip because when I took it out of the box this happened.

Also some Sailor Nioi-Sumire from Anderson Pens.

Diamine Onyx Black. For some reason it takes forever and some more to dry on the paper, so inevitably I end up touching it and get it on my hand :/

Levenger Amethyst.

It has staying power and i cut my finger pretty good right after while opening a can or else I would have ended up with a homemade purple fingertip tattoo!!!!!

So, what's your point?

(Mine is a flexible F.)

Diamine Asa Blue.

In hindsight, when filling a classic button filler Dufold using an ink vial, the damn thing can displace a *lot* of ink with that first press.

Lovely shade of blue though. Easily one of my top3.

Noodlers North African Violets because I can't seem to fill a pen without getting ink all over my hands. Yesterday it was Edelstein Topaz.
