Kon-Peki... I feel bad, I have to adjust a nib and all that precious ink was wasted!

... and I got scared on how difficult it was to remove stains from Kon-Peki so I filled a Lamy 2000 instead, and use Tsuki-Yo on the Custom Heritage 92.

Not the best pic, but I am loving this ink!

Noodler's Borealis Black. That eyedropper Nathan puts in his 4.5 oz bottle creates droplets big enough to block Pilot cartridges. The first droplet sits at the top, causing all others to bubble out, as if the cart was full. And it is a bear to get off of fingers.

But it's really really black, and dries a LOT faster than original Noodler's Black, which smears even on cheep office copy paper after 10s or more. Perhaps I'll get a sample of original Noodler's Black & see if some dilution helps with that. It did with Red-Black.

Clean, except for the faintest shadow of Diamine Tyrian Purple under the corner of my left thumbnail ... and I just flushed five (5!) fountain pens. *pats self on back and does superior dance* :bunny01:

Iroshizuku Shin-Kai. I wondered why my Al-Sport wasn't flowing well so took the nib and feed out. Turns out I didn't align them properly when I cleaned it t'other week... So, Shin-Kai all over my thumb.

Diamine Apple Glory. I used it to stain some very uninspiring maple green, and make a pen out of it.

PR American Blue (Fast Dry). I was turning the blindcap of my Vac-700 to use it and then realized it was actually my TWSBI 580, and ink was spurting down the pen onto my fingers. :yikes:

Blue-black, Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. I dipped my dad's Parker 51 to see how it wrote and what width the nib is. Unsurprisingly, but somewhat disappointedly, it's a medium.

Today it's Noodler's Kung Te Cheng. Yesterday it was Noodler's Manjiro Nakahama Whaleman's Sepia (an interesting color, but has awful flow issues). Sunday it was De Atramentis Document Turquoise, which dries really fast but has bad spread and show through issues (like a turquoise version of Organic Studios Charles Darwin).

Today, I received some new pens (5) and inked up two of them, one with Diamine Chocolate Brown and the other with Diamine Ancient Copper. I'm wearing both inks on my left hand... and one spot on my right pinkie.

I've got Chocolate Brown on my left hand as well. I forgot to wipe the section after refilling ink. :yikes:

I was transferring some of the 1670 Stormy Grey to a sample vial and it left a trail of fairy dust on my fingertips :)

I am itching for a chance to get fairy dust on my fingers!

Instead, I have Noodler's Atlantic Salmon decorating four fingers.
