What Color Are Your Fingers Today?

GouletPens

Recommended Posts

I was replacing the spring of a snorkel this evening as the old one was rusted. I was putting it back together and pushed the plunger down, forgetting that it still had ink in it. So my fingers are clean, but there are splats of Quink Blue-Black with solv-X down my leg and all up my landlady's curtain. Doubt I'll be able to get that out, so it's lucky she's been talking about replacing them soon anyway.

LOL! Not funny, but in my mind, the visual was brilliant! :P Try some Amodex, it takes ink out of fabric.

As for my ink...I have only 5 fingers with Levenger Amethyst. Tried a syringe to see if it would work with my cartridges and it was just a BIT too big.

So, what's your point?

A tiny dot and a short, thin line of Noodler's Navajo Turquoise. It's a mystery how it got there....

So, what's your point?

I can't honestly say what color my fingers are today...

I grabbed a Sheaffer No Nonsense yesterday and something had happened which caused ink to get all over the section and thus my fingers.

The strange thing (besides that I've never had one of my No Nonsense pens leak like this before) is that the pen is inked with Diamine Pumpkin! I've been writing with it on and off for about two weeks with no issues, then all of a sudden green(?) fingers. When I put pen to paper, orange still comes out of the nib. Odd.

Today I have a red mark on me that glows in UV light. It's a very odd thing, and looks sort of like a radioactive bruise.

This is what happens when I test mixing Noodler's Fox red and Blue Ghost. (The ink on the page does not glow much, or I don't know what to look for.)

This morning it's a dot of J. Herbin Violette Pensee and a smear of Diamine Chocolate Brown.
