Susemai Red Diamond (AKA Pepto-Bismol), on my left forefinger and thumb. I'm a righty; I have no idea how this happened.

Black, as usual.

Should really buy more colors.

Today they are J. Herbin Lie de The. I swapped out my Lamy Al Star F nib for my M nib.

I have to admit, this ink continues to amaze me! With a very wet medium nib, it's darker tones and shading are even more pronounced!

(Luscious) Levenger Cardinal Red on the pads and Waterman Sea Side Blue on the back of the knuckles! Was filling a cartridge and then swapping. Tiny tint of an unidentifiable burgundy I apparently had in the cartridge at one time.

So, what's your point?

I've been using a pen that doesn't leak for the past few days, so my fingers should be clean. Sadly, I was helping with face-painting yesterday and my cuticles were stained black when the kids decided to finger-paint me. Since I'm already all mucky, I've decided to change all my inks around today as a treat.

We will find it, we will bind it, we will stick it with glue glue glue,

We will stickle it, every eyelid, nose and lip,

We are coming for you you you~

Got Susemai Blue Balls on several fingers of my right hand last night, but it's mostly worn off this morning. I am such a slob!

I was thinking of all the giggles, snarfs and snarks this ink would get when I chose the name. I didn't think Blue Balled was any better.... though being a Nevadan, I think "Black Balled" and "86ed" are perfectly acceptable names.

Today it was, I think, Akkerman #19. I'm not sure though -- I discovered that there was some red ink that had linked into the bottom of the canister that I keep inked pens in. :wallbash: And so *every* pen in the canister had to have the bottom wiped off -- and some had to have the sides wiped off as well -- after cleaning the leak as best as I could.

But that explains why I was getting red ink on my hands even when I wasn't using a pen with red ink in it....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Great job ...

oh, wait is that because you only inked one pen?

heh heh, yup!

I must say that Kiowa Pecan lasts a long time ~ I wrote over 6 pages with only 1 squeeze worth of ink! Now on to De Atramentis Petrol
