Oh, thank goodness...I'M NORMAL!!

I have a deep burgundy and a blue black from the cartridges I was fiddling with. Pens weren;t writing, so did some investigating and got ink on myself (but still not going throught the pen).

It looks quite like a bruise, lol. I'll be on cartridge cleaning duty when i get home from work. (Thought is was full, but only of DRIED ink! Hmmmph.)

I have a Mix of Kung Te-Cheng and Pilot Kon-peki. It looks like I just killed a smurf. But I don't remember dropping much on me while cleaning.

The odd thing is the Noodler's Black washes right off of me while Pilot Kon-peki sticks to me harder than super glue.

some fresh stains from 30 minutes ago, and a big stain from last night of Parker Quink Black.. I'm glad it's easy to remove? I almost stained my table with it, because my cat knocked the bottle over (luckily it was a small bottle I put a bit of ink in for dipping) :P

Today they are just standard blue.

Yesterday they were black with a little red.

Diamine Sherwood green. I dipped the pen too far into the bottle. It's a new 30ml bottle and smaller than bottles of Diamine I'm used to. So, the ink was flowing over the edge of the bottle; what a mess and what a abuse of fine ink :(

Some cleaning up to do now.

Got a smidge of Diamine Violet on my right thumb last night; can barely see it today. No matter; I'm not going out in public anyway :P

I'm sporting what I assume is Shaeffer blue. I think one of the pens I was was working on for my neighbour yesterday is leaking. She let me play with her father's Shaeffer PFM and a Shaeffer 444. I think it was the 444 that was leaking.

Great pens, although the PFM is too wet a writer for my taste.

Pelikan Edelstein Topaz - I love this ink but not on my fingers. One day I will manage to fill a pen and wipe it without getting ink on my fingers.

Today the fingers are clean, but had a blue ink blob on my tongue for a couple minutes. Mysteriously has disappeared. :)

So, what's your point?

Akkerman #5 Shocking Blue. Thought I managed to do this cleanly, then noticed a little bit of blue on one finger. Practice makes perfect, one of these days I will refill without making any sort of mess. :)

I was told dish soap works well. I agree with pumice.

Diamine Syrah on many fingers, today and every day until I ( a ) gain more experience filling my pen and ( b )purchase more colors.

I love Syrah for the pen but prefer Beaujolais for the glass. Cheers!

I had some Heart of Darkness on my tongue the other day, and it was not a fun time. Serves me right for trying to wet a nib without thinking about it first.

Today, I've been highlighting with an apple green Pilot Petit cartridge, and gained a few specks from the cap. Plus there's some leftover Black Swan in English Roses from last night's fill underneath a couple fingernails.
