Éclat de Saphir. I didn't even bother trying to wash it off, just dabbed it dry with a paper towel.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

Here's a fun story from last week. I was using a TWBSI Vac 700 and the ink was running low. Silly me thought it was something wrong with the feed so I decided to force some ink into the feed by pushing the plunger down. I managed to squirt ink all over my desk, narrowly missing my cellphone and keyboard. My hands were drenched in Noodler's La Couleur Royale. But I got the pen to write again!

I'll keep on struggling, 'cause that's the measure of a man.

Same color as they've been for the past couple of days: Noodler's Manhattan Blue. Have a prototype pen that I'm testing, and I think I ended up with almost as much ink on my hands as in the pen. And washing my hair only got *some* of it off my fingers.

Trying now to decide if it's worth a second chance or to clean the pen out well and try something much drier. Diamine Damson is coming to mind.... Maybe the Manhattan Blue belongs in the Poseidon Pearl Konrad instead, since that's a pretty dry pen (especially compared to all the other Noodler's pens I have).

Diamine Poppy Red on the thumb and first two fingers of my left hand. I was experimenting with reloading the converter of my Hero 359 using an eyedropper, and I didn't get the tip of the eyedropper aligned quite right with the end of the converter. I'll know better next time. I promise!

Add Apache Sunset and Brilliant Brown, thanks to a couple ink samples my pen pal sent me. Argh!

Until you ink a pen, it is merely a pretty stick. --UK Mike

Well, there was a little De Atramentis Apple Blossom from getting a pen started. And some Noodler's Kung Te Cheng, because the Konrad dedicated to it needed a really good flush (well, scrub down and soak and then some more scrub down, to be honest...).

And still (in *spite* of Ink Nix , plus general -- and repeated -- applications of soap and water, as well as the ammonia solution for the Konrad) I've not been able to get *quite* all the Noodler's Manhattan Blue off my hands.

Yes, that was plural :(). From *yesterday* (!) from a pen/ink combo that was, um, less than felicitous.... Although at this point it's just a tiny bit along the side of my right middle finger, and on either side of that fingernail.

it's a horrible mess of Lie de Thé, Asa-gao and Pilot Black. Tried filling two pens to the brim (and beyond, unfortunately) and I just can't keep my fingers clean when writing with my Pilot Parallel Pen. Thank goodness it's beginning to fade.

Still have remnants of Éclat de Saphir left over from Friday night.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

Something like blueish ... I've received a beautiful Visonti Homo Sapiens Lava from a client who doesn.t use it anymore ... So I flushed it carefully. Result, blue fingers .....

Noodler's Whaleman's Sepia with just a touch of Black Swan in English Roses for lubricating purposes. Nice color.

Hahahha-great topic!

Awesome to read all your input :)

My fingers are pink from Pelikan Edelstein Turmaline (yes I know, it doesn't shade-but it is still a lovely color)

HA! Today is the first day that my hands are actually ink free! Funny since I've been using my pen all day. It's the first time I can remember that I was able to sit down for dinner without my Mom first scrubbing my hands in the kitchen sink with Brillo.

Private Reserve Ebony Brown and Diamine Salamander

As a side note, when heavily diluted Diamine Salamander turns a brilliant shade of purple.
