For some reason I felt compelled to put my finger over one end of my converter and push my plunger down. Well, it was a stupid idea, the ink started spewing out of one small gap between my finger and the converter. I am now polka doted with Noodler's X-Feather all over my hands and lower arms.

Crazy, crazy! Reminds me of the time as a young child I poured a bottle of milk over my head. Why? I wanted to know what it felt like. Then I cried!

 

My fingers have some Visconti Black (mixed with a few drops of Visconti Sepia as I poured the black into the Sepia bottle) on them.

Let's see, I had an adventure to Amber's Ink Den and Sample House and now have an inky rainbow on my hands. Lot's 'o BSB plus Bung Box L'Amant, Bung Box 88, Bung Box 4B, Noodler's Purple, and several others I can't remember well. Perhaps some MB Mahatma Gandhi.

1 He's not kidding this stuff is bulletproof! I'm thinking of making a flack jacket out of it...

2 It doesn't flow real well in the first pen I've tried it in. I'm stubborn there are some more coming.

3 The color is UN-believable, it' makes Diamine Pumpkin look dull....

Sheaffer skrip green. Refilling my daughter's jinhao, the converter splitted .... So unremovable grren on my fingers and jeans .....

Cleans up easily on every thing except paper, which is good news!!

Pharmacist's Terra Incinerata (original formulation) -- did not occur to me just *how* permanent IG inks can be. Same as yesterday (long story). Except that yesterday was also a bit of De Atramentis Red Roses.

Private Reserve Purple Mojo and Noodler's Bernanke Blue. Those were the only ones that visibly got on my fingers.

 

I was re-inking and changing colors, so probably some specks of Diamine Midnight, Pelikan Edelstein Onyx and Pilot Iroshizuku Take-sumi.

Considering how many pens and inks I have been handling these past two days when cleaning and reinking pens it is a wonder I only have three small spots of Pelikan Edelstein Mandarin, Waterman South Sea Blue and Private Reserve Lake Placid Blue on my thumbs. I now have some nice combinations of pens and inks for work next week.
