Pelikan violet. Today, two of my fingers are purple. How does that ink came on my fingers? I'm afraid I dońt know .... Perhaps I should have a look on my Parker 180 .....

Just received Noodler's Cactus Fruit Eel and decided to try out syringe filling for the first time. OMG syringe filling is sooooooo easy!!!

Note to self: thinking about which direction is "downstream" when rinsing out a syringe containing leftover ink and adjust hand position accordingly. ;)

This morning it was a little Noodler's Kung Te Cheng. Love the ink, but it *is* a hard starter. Want to use up the fill in the Konrad (Hudson Bay Fathom demonstrator) it's in so I can take the pen out of rotation -- it needs a *serious* flushing and scrubbing (with the crazy weather we've been having recently, a lot of ink has ended up in the cap from air pressure changes). But there's still ink in the pen, (and it's been diluted because I was too lazy to clean it last week and just refilled with distilled water).

As for later in the day, dunno what color. I have various pens in rotation, plus some samples I haven't tried yet....

I worked in the garden today, so it's a down to earth black-brown that is colouring the fingers ;)

The last touches of a few black dots from refilling some marker pens using a filling station that had some ink on the nozzle where you insert the pen.

Not only have I refilled the pens, I cleaned up the filling station.

Who said markers are cleaner than fountain pens?

Got a lot of Imperial purple on my hands today. When I was filling up my 580, I accidentally dunked the nib in too far and the ink overflowed onto my fingers.

Today, I've just received my second hand Caran d'Ache Varius Metwood. As I don't like the ink it was filled with (should be a standard bue ...) I filled it with Iroshizuku Ama Iro to try his F nib. My fingers are now dark blue because of the cleaning of my new pen with a few light Ama Iro blue ....

I really like those swiss pens (It's my 4th one as I already have the Leman Ebony, the Ecridor 555 et the Ecridor Retro )

Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses ... I chose this color to try out my new 1.1 stub even though I already have another pen inked up with this ink (I usually don't have 2 pens inked up with the same color). I must say that this color looks a lot nicer with a 1.1 nib than an EF nib.

Noodler's Gruene Cactus Eel. I'm going to say about one mL. The other mL is in the pen. I'll go slower with the syringe next time.
