A mixture of Pelikan Edelstein Amber, Montblanc Blue, Diamine Onyx Black and Pelikan Edelstein Adventurine which I was really looking forward to using only to find it bleeds and feathers through my Leuchturm notebooks :(

Have some social obligations so I will be writing a bit "on location". it's a mixture of Pelikan blueblack, R&K Salix, R&K Verdura and PR shoreline gold. Also a Rhodia pad 16 road test :) Need to find me one of these nice leather covers but they are hard to find. Anybody in the Netherlands?

Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. Refilled my Waterman Expert from a bottle that is still quite full and dipped the pen a bit too deep.

Private Reserve Naples Blue...my Esterbrook filled the cap with a few drops after I dropped the pen case while in my backpack.

Diamine Syrah.

Ink spurted out when I pushed the converter into the nib section. I picked up a bottle to try out and am glad this did not turn out to be a dud. I like the color.

I was adjusting a nib with J. Herbin Poussière de Lune on it, so my fingers are all purple now.

Iroshizuku Asa-gao. I think I overtightened the bottle cap, because the seal got stuck to the bottle instead of staying inside the cap, so I had to pry it off.

Last year I was living in Seoul with my four Noodler inks (An approximation of C, M, Y, and K, and Ottoman Azure) double-ziplocked and stored in a drawer.

Being the syringe-ink-mixing feind I am, I carried those bottles from my closet to the bathroom, and somehow the bag slipped out of my hand and all four inks landed hard on the lenolium floor (in the entryway, thank goodness). As it happens, broken glass is quite good at cutting plastic, and ink splashes beautifully. My bare feet were a crazy mixture of Shah's Rose and Noodler's Black for WEEKS after that. By some miracle, my Ottoman Azure, Navajo Turquois, and Yellow survived... but that poor entryway will never be quite the same again.

Caran d'Ache Saffron and some mystery blue-green from my Waterman Hemisphere. Fortunately the bright orange matches my nails. I'd hate to clash... ;)

Ama Iro. Three of my fingers are now Ama Iro from Iroshizuku .... Feeding my Sheaffer Palladium Straight Line, I let a little bit of that splendid ink fall on my fingers ...

I had one of those  :wallbash: :gaah: moments today.

I was looking for a pen to ink when I picked up my Lamy 2000. I uncapped it, went to fill it and saw that there was dried ink on the nib. Turns out, I didn't flush the pen before I moved LAST YEAR! Same with an Ahab, Prera, and VP.

My fingers are now Noodler's 41 brown, Noodler's Fox Red, Pilot Blue, and some sort of dark purple. Plus a little Noodler's Hunter Green for good measure.

The pens survived.

Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. Was in a bit of a hurry trying to find a pen to make a quick note. My Waterman Expert II may not be fancy and with BBK it can suffer from hard starts but I still find it a sturdy pen and good ink to take with me.

Diamine Meadow. When I started to change colours while drawing, I neglected to remove the access ink from my dip pen nib before cleaning it. Not what is usually meant by having a green thumb...

Still a bit of Diamine Umber -- hot bath and shampoo almost got rid of it all. Had it in a pen that I wasn't quite happy with, so I fiddled with the nib tines to see if I could improve the flow. May need another session...

Pilot red. I didn't realize that my eyedropper converted preppy had a minor on the barrel(around the threads) until I finished writing a page with it. Thank goodness I discovered it's cracked before chucking it into my purse, though. It could've gotten much worse than ink stained fingers.
