I've been looking for a max of two bottles, and it seems they're only available on the secondary market at exorbant prices. If anyone knows of any places still hiding some don't be afraid...you can PM me. ;)

The rumor seems to be that MB asked at least some retailers to send them any leftover inventory, so I doubt you can find it in stores.

I think this will continue to exist in the Penman-like price range we're seeing. I'm actually starting to get just a bit paranoid of running out even though I have a mostly full bottle. I keep reminding myself that Noodler's Burma Road Brown is like the brown version of the ink and that it will likely be available as long as Nathan is alive and kicking barring any unforeseen dye availability issues.

Try Missing Pen in Germany. It looks like they might have it.

I don't think Rolf Thiel ("Missing Pen") stil has any BRG, BUT he has Noodlers "Das verschollene Grün" (the missing green) - which is the very accurate replacement for BRG! He has 3 different versions of it - with very minimal difference in color.

You can ask him about it and look at some samples here:

Here is a sample picture from that same thread where all the colors are shown, together with BRG:

You might also take a look at Diamine's new Green-Black. The swab pics I've seen suggest that it might be close to MBR, but you never know with computer scans. Worth a look though.

Fourteen years later, I used a sample of this ink a couple years back and love it.  Does anyone know where I might find some in 2024? MB British Racing Green?

I don't know where you can pick up a bottle, but this thread may have some helpful suggestions:

Additionally, this post from @Mercian linked to a helpful review, but also provided some context on it:

And as my own contribution, this review contains various possibilities, including comparisons of which ink dupe is best on which papers:

Thank you! I think your comparison the most helpful.  I have the Herbin, but it looks a bit different on my papers.
