I have one of the EXTRA LARGE Torcello's that I use as a kind of scrapbook/photo album sort of thing for recording my kids growing up - picture's. comments, school concert leaflets etc - My Perfect Keepsake - LOVE IT

I received a couple of these journals from Steve yesterday, and I must say theat the journal quality is extremely high. Great paper and nicely packaged.

 

Steve's service is highly recommended. A very nice gentleman to deal with. I don't see how anyone could go wrong on these.

I just got in 3 pocket sized 9-10 x 14, A6 Papuro Notebooks from Steve today. Out of UK on July 16, in my mail box NM/USA on 21st July. Tremendous service, Unbelievable delivery time, and beautiful workmanship on the Journals. My only problem is which of the 3 do I start with. All are FP lovers, not just friends. Even with Martin's Sailor in a Broad/Stub Nib, no bleed through, feathering etc. Not just my XF's work great with them. If you like the larger sized journals at a bargain basement price, Jump on these, Jim

I received the extra large with burgundy covers yesterday. One day delivery !

A lovely journal, with real fp paper - cream to compliment the brown inks many of us adore.(as well as other colours of course)

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

      Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

      Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
