Just found the Faber-Castell Loom on their Web site yesterday afternoon. Has anyone heard if there will be an fp version of this series? Otherwise, am looking for any reviews or news on this line: how old is it/when was it introduced? Will it only be bp and rb, or when will the fp be released?

Saw these BP and RB pens in The Pen Corner, Dublin today. Have to say they are stunning pens for the money (BP was 20euro and RB was 25euro). Really good quality although I lean toward the rollerball as I do not like ballpoint.

 

I think Faber-Castell are releasing a Loom pencil but I'm unsure if a fountain will arrive any time soon, if at all. Might be worth asking Faber-Castell directly?

 

I'm tempted to go buy one tomorrow during my lunch hour!

I don't think they will produce a fp for this series.. However I really like the design!

Just got my Loom ......

 

For 30 ευρώ this pen is a steal...

 

Very good quality, very nice looking, super smooth M Nib.

 

Heavy pen but well balanced...

Nib based is exactly the same. All the non Grav Fon Fabers shares the same Nib.

 

For my opinion, loom and basic is the same pen, dressed up in different clothes. Here in Greece, runs a promo discount for 1 FP and Ball Point pen Basic (leather or Carbon) at price of 40 euro both.
