Parker Jotter Pencil Dismantle? (newbie)

I believe something is jammed up my parker jotter mechanical pencil..(it's a relatively new one as well)

I've managed to remove the outer casing (sorry for my lack of knowledge with terminology)..And I have gotten to the stage where I can't remove the plastic barrel from the metal/bronze metal part..Or is that the most i can dismantle the pencil?

 

If so, what could i use to clean the debris jammed inside?

The mechanisms on the newer jotters aren't intended to be dismantled as it's a sealed unit, you won't be able to fix it other than using a pin to clear anything at the clutch end I'm afraid, remove the eraser and spare lead and hold it so the obsruction can fall out of the open end - assuming that is the problem. Although I'd be inclined to return it for a replacement if you haven't had it long. Hope this helps
