I have got an addition to vintage Watermans...I love the flex nibs. It is just a pleasure to use them. Too bad I type on a computer most of the time. The pleasure of a flex nib is just unique. Anyway, I started buying too many vintage Watermans, ought to stop...

As a new FP addict, I mean enthusiast ...I have 4 Waterman FPs. Green Marble Philiea, Blue Marble Phileas, Clear Demonstrator and a lime green (or so it appears) Demonstrator.

 

I really like my Phileas and hope to add different colors and nibs.

The oldest is a CF, the most recent is the Exception, and I have almost one (or more) of every model in between : Man 100, 200, Carene, Edson, Watermina, Expert, Kultur, Serenite, Etalon, Charleston, Gentleman, Liaison.

 

The Perspective is on my wish list, but I am not sure about the Elegance...yet !

My first Waterman is a cognac coloured Hemisphere with a Medium nib. It writes so well and fit well in my hand. I have added a red Preface (fine tip), a red Phileas demonstrator, a carene and a Perspective. But I am dreaming of a Serenite in cocobolo wood

You can now add a corail laquered CF fitted with a medium nib. My favorit at the moment: light, pretty and a nib on the flexy side.

I have a Waterman Expert II that I've had since middle school, my first "real" fountain pen after my mothers schaeffer student pens from the 50s-60s

 

I also have a Waterman US "Capital Lady Dainty" BCHR with an Aiken & Lambert nib

 

And my favorite in my collection, a Waterman US 452 1/2v fp/pencil set in the sterling silver filligree over bhr in the "bamboo" pattern... This was a "sumgai" find before I even knew what it was... I picked this set up for the always fantastic price of F-R-E-E
