I own a Hemisphere in green marble. It is my first Waterman, and definitely won't be my last! :puddle:

Modern Liaison BP in ebonite.

Vintage:

52 in black chased ebonite

52 in red ripple

52-1/2V in blue ripple.

Eventually I'll pick up olive ripple and rose ripple as well.

Can we have pictures (perhaps in a new thread)? Did not know 52 came in ebonite or the blue ripple in the slender short size.

I'm going to take some ebonite pics over the next few days when I get my light cube unpacked.

My bad on the blue ripple, it's a 52V, pic here. Red ripple pic here, BCHR pic here.

I'll get them all together soon and update this thread with a link.

Thanks! The pic of the blue Ripple is gone from that Marketplace post...or I'm just not seeing it.

Hello everyone, just took the plunge and joined the forums.

I own a Gentleman FP in dark red.

I never guess. It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

Welcome to FPN, Deckard.

I currently own a grey Carène and a tortoise CF inherited from my mother. I also have a royal blue Carène on the way. Best,

I have a blue metalic finish Hemisphere (a matching roller ball as far as that goes) a blue Laureat, and a BCHR 52. I love the 52--the length is great and nib is semiflex and wonderful. For general writing the 52 is a dream.

I have

two Experts (I + II) which I have used for some years (sadly enough I have had my share of trouble with them)

a L'etalon Sterling

a Carene brown / gold

a beautiful Exception Ideal Back GT for daily use

a Le Man 100 Opera

a Gentleman (saddly in a minor condition)

Besides de Waterman's I also have some Parkers, Swan's, Soeneckens and a union (but they are just laying around).

I'm still looking for a new one ("...you never know what you're gonna get")

best,

Bashar

My first Waterman is this Waterman Apostrophe

I haven't find it here yet, perhaps it is only some European model... Who knows? :)

All of mine are modern - er, post 1960 - (which brings a question to my mind as to the differentiation between modern and vintage - is it by date or by particular model for a specific manufacturer?)

Anyway, off the top of my head I have a:

medium and fine nib Carene Deluxe in Prussian Blue with matching roller ball and ball point pens,

a broad and fine nib Carene Deluxe in Prussian(?) Green with the same matching pens as above,

one Carene Deluxe with medium nib in bronze with roller ball,

a beautiful black and gold Charleston set of fine nib, roller ball and 0.5 mechanical pencil,

a similar set of red ebonite Liaison instruments,

a Lady Agatha in Prussian Blue and gold alternating squares (I don't know how to call it),

and coming in a black Le Man 100 with matching ball point.

I like sets.

Whew! That's too many for me now that I look at it. I think it's time to think about getting rid of some - so I can get a blue Edson and matching roller ball.

Peace,

Phroneo

French, do you know where I can get the all-sterling LeMan 100, and the blue Patrician? After that, I am not buying any more pens. I think. :ltcapd:
