What Waterman pens do you own?

What color is your Gentleman? I have most of them, exclusing a gold barleycorn, a silver godron and the solid brown. Oh, and I don't have one of the Maki-e (not sure if the spelling is right on that).

My Gentleman is the dark blue lacquered one. Really love the looks, even though I have a thing for Sterling silver pens myself :)

  • 2 weeks later...

My one Commando now has a couple friends. I just got the other two - one is a 52 1/2v, and I just figured that the middle one is a Lady Patricia.

I got the Lady Patricia apart to put a new sac on, and discovered a new one for me. The old sac, what was left of it, was being held on with what appears to be a thin piece of Scotch tape.

I resurrected my waterman passion today!

Was very lucky to spot a special offer on Amazon and picked up a black and gold Carene. It arrived in the post this morning and I was blown away by how buttery smooth it is to write with.

I know I'm preaching to the converted, but it's stunning. Blows my old Mont Blanc Starwalker out of the water.

I just received a Waterman Expert 3 (black with gold trim - gorgeous!) as a gift. It came without a converter, so my question is this - does it take the threaded converter (like the one my Carene has) or the simpler push-in style? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

Festivus came early this year, and here's my new addition to the stable of vintage Watermans: A "Copper Ray" "Ink-Vue" with a stunningly flexible nib.

Sorry for the crummy cell phone photos...

Is that a reverse lever? Wouldn't it catch when you pull it from your pocket?

Otherwise very nice pen.

What a beauty, HJB and how nicely you put it to work already. May I ask where you got it from?

A seller on eBay accepted my offer. I couldn't be more pleased --it writes like a dream, and looks good, too!

Waterman Made in England w huge flex nib and acc clip

That looks like my kind of writer --sharp thin lines and bold heavy lines. Nice!

Well, I know it is a bit late for this thread but I have just taken delivery of my one and only Waterman Expert in an amazing green marble. It was advertised as an Expert I but it appears to be an Expert II. Very pleased.

How could I have left out my most valuable Watermans? I guess it's 'cause I keep them locked up in a safety deposit box.
