Just today received two from two separate eBay auctions: a clipless lever-fill 52 with a Canadian Ideal nib, and a pretty pearly blue 503 made in England.

I only have one fountain pen.

I had a black Apostrophe (with medium nib I think), but I lost it, after using it many years.

Yesterday I bought my first fountain pen (the other one was a gift). It's a Hémisphère in metallic blue, with a Fine nib.

Hello this is my first post on the Fountain Pen Network so please excuse any font or size issues....

Anyway I own just one Waterman which is the Edson in silver. Sold as the limitecx edition here in England.

It has a medium nib as standard but bought an oblique nib via e-bay.com which I do like for signature use.

The story of how I settled for this pen is for another post but suffice to say it was a long and expensive search.

I am at present trying to locate a supplier of Noodlers inks in the uk but think I may have to buy from the USA.

Good to be amongest like minded people....

Regards to all. :)

Hi, just got my first Waterman, a 515. Know very little about it, about 1949. Written with it, it's really quite something. Looks fabulous. Please don't anyone tell me there's no such pen or anything awful like that! I'd be gutted.

I am now looking for excuses to write, on everything, about everything. And here I am, at my laptop . . . .

Basically, all of my Watermans are really solid, everyday writers. While I don't use them every day, when I ink one up, I can always count on it. I have:

2 Phileas' (blue/med nib, grey/fine nib)

3 Carenes (Seagreen Shimmer/fine nib, Blue Abyss/med nib, green and gold cap Deluxe/med nib)

1 Expert II (brushed chrome/med nib)

Don't know whether I should say one, or four. It's kind of a quad-fecta:

LeMan 100 (EF), with matching RB, BP and MP.

The FP is such a smooth writer. My only gripe is with it's weight. I can only use it unposted.

Expert 11, matte black with "silver" furniture, medium nib---present from Hubby in our silver wedding anniversary year

Expert 11, glossy black with gold furniture, medium nib---bought because I liked my first one so much

Phileas, black, fine nib---bought after reading good reports on here---also realised that I like the lighter handle of plastic pens

Kultur, clear, fine nib---not yet seen as bought for Christmas and hidden by my youngest son

2 Expert II

1 Gentleman

1 Phileas

The Gentleman is by far the best of the batch, and the Phileas the lower level.

I hope to add a Le Man 100, Le Man 200 and a Charleston in the near future.

I just bought my first Waterman, a Phileas demonstrator and I like it quite a bit. It's quite light, has a pleasing shape, and its fine nib is a fairly smooth writer. The barrel is a transparent orange color and it's also my first demonstrator. It's a cool pen and was a very good deal (via Montgomery Stationery via eBay). For now, this has become my favorite "knockaround" pen.

I already listed mine in the how many do you own thread. A couple Phileas fps, a couple Phileas rbs, and a Carene rb.

However, that is not the extent of Waterman pens in our household. My son also has three Waterman fountain pens: a red and a blue Phileas, and a teal CF.
