I only own one, a 52, and I really love it. It is very smooth and has excellent flex, and I picked it up for not very much at all.

Wow! If you should ever want to sell one of those..... or give it away? I have a green Rhapsody FP (F nib) and matching BP (ballpoint) which I dearly love, plus an Exclusive in cognac and a dark blue marbled Phileas, all bought in the 90s from Levenger.

And :W2FPN: You come with some great pens. Glad to welcome a new member and a Waterman lover as well.

I like Watermans. I have just archived an original Man 100's commemorative nib and had a new nib fitted. I chose the Man 100 when they first were released 25 years ago instead of a "certain German brand" which being made of "precious resin" were not as sturdy. I only have two other Watermans a gold plated Gentleman of the same era as the Man 100, and a Phileas bought at a Waterman outlet in Marseilles. I have given as gifts more Watermans than I own.

I have only 2 (so far): a 1909 "12½" Eyedropper Slender, Super-flexible; and a 2010 "Elegance" Converter, Fine, Rigid.

It would be interesting to combine the best of each and make a Waterman's Monster :D

Sadly only a Hemisphere Brushed Stainless Steel - M nib. Hopefully I will very soon own a ringtop! (I hope I am doing this correctly for my first post...)

I just received my first Waterman, a Red Marble Phileas with a medium nib. We are just getting to know each other, but I can tell this one is a writer already.

I filled it with Noodler's Red Black (just for grins) and think I'll write Older Son a letter with it. The Red Black looks a lot like dried blood. Older Son will find that greatly amusing, given he (and his wife) are long-time fans of horror movies.

I'll know a lot more about the pen after I write this letter. So far all I've done with it is use it for my writing practice.

Great fun!

2 W3s and a modern one I bought during a trip, having forgotten to bring a pen with me.

I had a lovely 52v with a flexy nib, but a friend of mine, upon seeing it, said it was soo beautiful and cute (being a very short pen) that it could be nothing else then a woman's pen, so I had to gift it to her...
