Hitler's Fountain Pen

I found this curious internet news. What do you think?

" … on another matter, I had recently read something on the Internet that I am curious about. As this story goes, the pen manufacturer, Mont Blanc, had been asked back in the 1930s to produce a fountain pen for Adolf Hitler, and came up with the snowcap design that remains today. When looked at from the side, the pen cap resembles a snow-covered mountain peak. But, when viewed from the top, it resembles the Jewish star. As the story goes, the pen was designed this way by an anti-Nazi so that Hitler would be carrying the Jewish star in his pocket.

I know this is hardly a major issue, but I am a fountain pen aficionado, and am curious if you know anything about this. Do you know what brand of fountain pen Hitler used? I know you are a busy man, but any insight you could offer would be greatly appreciated."

Im not the biggest history expert, but I think that the timing is wrong on that theory. 1908 was when Montblanc was founded and I didnt think Hitler was in politics until the 20s... He was born in 1889, so they would have made him the pen when he was 19?

Ho trovato questa notizia curiosa internet. Cosa ne pensi?

Montblanc Pens' Familiar White Star Was Designed By a Jew for Hitler-Fiction!

http://www.truthorfiction.com/_themes/bubbles/bd14565_.gifSummary of eRumor:

Montblanc pens have a trademark on their caps of a finely-crafted white star. It is said that the Montblanc pen was designed by a Jew for Adolph Hitler so that, without knowing it, Hitler carried the Jewish Star of David in his pocket.

http://www.truthorfiction.com/_themes/bubbles/bd14565_.gifThe Truth:

The Montblanc company is a German company that was founded in the early 1900's under a different name, then became Montblanc in 1910. According to "The Montblanc Diary and Collector's Guide" written by Jens Rosler, the first pens with the white star on the cap were produced in 1914, long before Hitler's rise to power. The white star represents the snow-capped mountain Montblanc which was also, "..black at the bottom, white at the top and the greatest among its peers." It does resemble a Star of David, but we have found no evidence that the resemblance is intentional.
