As well as trademark no. 15,805 cited earlier in this series, trademark no. 31,958, Perry & Co., "Pens", Sept 13, 1898, used since Apr 30, 1897, is for the monogram "& P Co", and the words "Dome Pointed Pens". Trademark no. 32,598, D. Leonardt & Co., "Pens", Mar 21, 1899, used since June 1, 1884, is for the words "Ball-Pointed Pens" and "H. Hewitt's Patent". Also see US patent no. 295,395 and UK patent no. 429 from 1883 for the Hewitt nib, and the L&P thread that was cited earlier in this series, Topic 1417 about ball-pointed nibs.
