Here is a very quick and dirty group shot of my MB's, minus another 147 traveller (off at MB being re-nibbed from a "F" to a "M")a 149 (going from a "B" to a "M" nib) and a 161 (at my office). The others are all RB except for the Starwalker BP. I really only like to have only what I use and therefore am thinking about selling the Plt/Resin Boheme, but who knows....today I am bringing it with me!

From the top: 147 ("F"), LeGrand Gold RB, LeGrand PT RB, Boheme Noir RB, Boheme Pt/Resin RB, Starwalker Cool Blue RB, Starwalker Grid RB and BP.

Nice selection from different lines. Does the Boheme require a shorter RB refill, or does one size fit all. Are RB refills of the same line width, or is there a selection, and what colors are available? How do you like MB RB refills? Cheers.

Hey Blade Runner,

The RB refills come in F, M widths. There is 1 size refill for all RBs except the LeGrand Line which takes a larger refill, again available in F and M. I have found that a F for the LeGrand is like a M in the other refills, ie, the M LeGrand is larger than the M for the Starwalker / Bohemes. I have been very happy with the MB refills - the M refill for the LeGrand is great for signatures.

I believe the RBs come in Blue, Black, Red and Green, although I must admit I stick mostly to Blue and occasionally Black.

I will take pictures of my own collection the week end.

Thank you!

I love the OBBB. Bryant had it up for sale a while back, and I managed to snag it before anyone else did. I got lucky with that one! It writes wonderfully after a minor flow adjustment (which I was able to do myself). Very wet, very broad, with a good bit of line variation. I use it mainly for cards and thank you notes.

Oooh....I love these things. Any chance of a writing sample?

Enjoying my fountain pen and all the cool inks that come with it!

Yeah, I actually almost kept this one... :)

I will take some pics of my pens later, and will leave the writing sample up to the pros, but here is the pic from the sale. Awesome looking nib!!!

You have a beautiful collection of pens- especially the nib sizes!!

I feel sad the gorgeous coral has no home and is floating.

Also good to see you posting, haven't seen you much at least round these parts recently!

Thanks, Shrinknib! I've been around... just mostly in stealth mode. ph34r.gif

P.S. The coral has a home in another box, with my collection of red ripple Watermans. Coral prefers her ebonite siblings to the precious resin cousins--when she visits the cousins, she complains that they are too cold and shiny. I agree with her reluctantly, since I do not want to encourage a pen mutiny. laugh.gif

very clever!

They are probably more colourful for her as well.

I should try stealth mode sometime, but am no good at it.

I must try and photograph one day my fledgeling collection- we are up to about 6-8 pens now.

Almost worthy.

Here is mine... Not too MBs anymore.

Last picture are pens that I dont use, all number 1 of LE numbers, but may eventually if they dont sell. I like them, so if they never sell I would be OK. The rest have ink in them and get use all the time.
