Trademark no. 08913, Fountain Ink Co., "Fluid Writing and Copying Inks", Dec 13, 1881, used since 1880, is for the words "Fountain Ink" and an image of a fountain, or jet of liquid. This is the first ink marketed specifically for fountain pens, both in the label and the company name. There are nine other trademarks for things such as the name "Caw's", an image of a crow, or rook, or raven perched on the cork of an ink bottle, an ink-bottle label with all the above words and images, the word "Fountain" by itself, the word "Dashaway" used by the Caw's Ink And Pen Co., the word "Just", the word "Limit", and three in the year 1910 without images, so I don't know what they are.
