Apparently imgur has taken a page out of the Photobucket playlist.... :(

imgur deletes very little. Either the author deleted it or imgur decided it violated their content standards.

Cool work, wonderful rare ink.

I do not understand little red dots.

I expect what you're seeing is the red sheen -- one of the reasons that PPS is so highly sought after these days. I just won't pay the prices that are being asked for the Parker Penman inks -- there are other inks which also sheen (while not the same base color, Diamine Oxford Blue also has some pretty exceptional red sheen to it, even on bad paper). And a few years ago I happened onto a 3/4 full PINT bottle of vintage Sheaffer Skrip Peacock (another highly desired ink no longer in production), for $12 US....

Yes, I do haunt out of the way antiques stores on occasion -- because you never know what you'll find. Of course sometimes the only thing I find is that I've wasted my time and the gas to drive somewhere....

Thank you Andrew, the red color you see is the sheen, and Penman Sapphire is known for this beautiful red sheen, the photos I have taken are just normal photos and I dint do any special settings or arrangements to capture the sheen, otherwise you could have seen much more of it.

Best regards.
