Andrew_L: your cards are so beautiful! I'd love to know what ink you used for this one

Thanks. Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay Black India Ink for linework, mixed red + black indian ink for text and watercolor for colorized flowers.

I should mind my own business. But I can't help but notice you must have quite a few girlfriends

Not, I'm not :). Your abilities and circle of your acquaintances with each other have nothing in common. I don't know, fortunately, or unfortunately I'm haven't much, but I have the very same half that helps in the work and education of our children.

Quote

I write to you - no more confession

is needed, nothing's left to tell.

I know it's now in your discretion

with scorn to make my world a hell.

But, if you've kept some faint impression

of pity for my wretched state,

you'll never leave me to my fate.

"Eugene Onegin" (A.S. Pushkin's poem)

Ouch, I made photos of how you can present a postcard to your beloved. :)

Such a sweet message! Thank goodness the lights are not candles, or having flames so close to such a great artwork would have made me anxious.

The linegraphic triptych with general title "Always forward!" (the Thrill of). Vintage style of the past era of the heyday of fountain pens :).

Sketch of my sketchbook - how meta :D

Cool images - 'Random portrait of a commuting guy' seen right after 'more tree(s)' reminds me of some Van Gogh paintings - He's done a ton of trees with those angular branches that you have there - and the colours and straight on pose of the commuter reminds me of some of his portraits of Joseph Roulin (the original postman lol) (bad kevin costner movie reference)lol

Also awesome pen work everybody !

Hi again!:)

It's not quite like or not at all similar, but it's also experience and gradual practice.
