Just a quick scribble with a Namiki Falcon (Medium nib).

After spending some time catless for the first time in many years, we will be picking up 2 new kittens in about a week-and-a-half.

The Blonde Bombshell (who works a mixture of all 3 shifts as a senior nurse) is looking forward to them with a mixture of delight and dread.

Regards, Myles.

Mattias,

wonderful work as always - and I got a real chuckle from the way the end of the pen bends as if under the weight of its own decoration, or as if to fit all the decoration in the drawing space available.

Have you ever been influenced by Sergio Aragones (or vice versa)? Some of your work reminds me of of his style and the decoration he adds to his work (in particular, I'm thinking here of helmets and other items in his Groo the Wanderer comics). No offense meant to your own innovative work, I was only curious.

Regards, Myles.

Great work. Did you ever see a children's book called "The House that Beebo Built"? A childhood favorite of mine and your concepts and drawings are very reminiscent. (Excuse spelling if wrong please, without MS Word autocorrect my veneer peels quickly!)

We can't trace our family copy at this time. Which is a bit worrying, as I did a search on the interweb and they are out there, but at a price! :yikes:

Could buy a (several?) pens for that.

If you follow google to amazon they have a few photos. I can't remeber the author (but then I can barely recall my own name some days) but he is French and I think he did the story and pics. Wonderful stuff.

I got a little carried away tonight. It's been a while since I last did any drawing. I thought I would share the result. Drawing was done with a Pelikan M800 and Edison Glenmont, Noodler's Black ink and Noodler's HOD.

TY JUDYBUG. :)

Though this is PF pre fountain pen, it is still one of my favorites.

How cute! The blue highlights really give it an icy look!

Hello and thanks for your comments, I'm just quitting my daytime job to start as a freelance illustrator fulltime (I'm been working in the computer game industry and with 3d animation since I took my masters of fine Arts)

I'm trying to finish some children's books at the moment, I've published some small things this last year.

I sell my drawing through my blogshop and blog, if there's something you're interested in mail me atmattias mail:

Kindest regards Mattias

BEAUTEEFUL WORK!!!! Best of luck with it.

This is more along the lines of a doodle than art, and it was done with a Pilot Varsity! :P
