Mattias is incredible. I love his whimsical style that pulls you in and I can spend all day looking at the details. Humor, details, perspective, surreal. Perfect!

Here is a new one of mine, made with my trusty Pelikan 400NN Tortoise, this time with a modern 400 XXXF, full-flex nib installed. This was a fun drawing for me to make.

Some simple sketches from a local museum and from an alleyway venue. Both were done in an Esterbrook J with 2668 nib and Sheaffer Skrip black.

There are so many beautiful drawings here that to respond to each would be spamming the thread. Over all the quality of work here is excellent. Here's my humble contribution to this excellent collection. I feel that I work in a style that is a bit tighter than many pen and ink artists; my day job is in a tattoo shop, so precision is, obviously, quite important there. All of these are on padding board, which despite it's cheapness, I just love to draw on (partly I love the zeitgheist of drawing on a post consumet material). I hope you enjoy my contribution as much as I've enjoyed yours.

Amazing work! Your tattoos must be great as well!

A self portrait, sort of xD

There

I see a startling similarity between the doodle and the avatar. :) GREAT JOB

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I'm late to the party and, after seeing so many amazing drawings, I'm almost hesitant to post this but I will admit that I'm just a little bit pleased with how it turned out. This is my very first ever attempt at drawing with ink.

Thank you. I'm not absolutely positive about the ink; I filled it before I started keeping track. It could be Kiowa Pecan. What I can tell you for sure is that it's a TWSBI Mini with a F nib, one of my favourite pens. (Who am I kidding? I love all my pens!)

How exactly do you get that splatter effect on the right side of the last picture? Waterbrush flicked on the paper? Love it.

This is a design of my own for a possible house one day.

This is a château in Normandie whose name escapes me at the moment.

Both were drawn with the Pelikan in the bottom picture.

Thank you!

Yes, almost. It was just a stiff haired paintbrush. After I saw your works with waterbrush, I'm really curious about trying one myself as well!

I'm lovin' it! :)

Hard to believe it was your first try drawing with ink! It looks great!

Nice shades and I really like the color too!
