Glass pens can be very hit or miss… some of mine are horrible and I have yet to find a way to fix 'em.

What you can't see here is the amazing sheen, not only for fountain pen ink, but dip pen ink, and whatever 'Nexus' was.

 

I wonder if Denril is still being made.

Get it while you can as it's all NOS at this point:  they discontinued Denril in 2021.  From https://www.bordenandriley.com/denril-1:

Thank you! It's a little rough but fun to do, so many drake ducks are dressed in their finest this time of year.

Thanks, I think some areas in Maine and the Puget Sound see them regularly, but inland any sea duck is special, I've seen a few scoters and a couple oldsquaw but just as rare here.
