Unfortunately, you don't mean the many words for snow used in Greenland and the many ways BBC presenters characterize rain.

No, I'm talking about those various wind conditions in the Alps that make you dizzy, people crazy and your head explode. 🤯 😵

That's fabulous, and touching given the poem you quote in your blog.  I find it surprising(and interesting) that writing with the nib reversed is wider than the non-flexed nib held traditionally.

Yes, I usually do this special, this is a feature of my grind, I call it Drawing Nib. But this time it happened by chance (more precisely, not special and according to the shape of tip).

ps: for understanding, it's a bit like to Sailor Concord nib.

Don't see anything, Don't hear anything, Won't say anything to anyone. So what is better: to know nothing and live in a quiet harbor, or to know - and live in stormy waters? They say that movement, it is a life!

This is so much more artistic and thoughtful then the normal representations of see no evil/hear no evil or head in the sand.

Bravo.

This is a nice series of portraits; you seem to have an unending assortment of pens and ink.

When I saw a picture of a carrot with swagger photographed by someone unknown on the internet I had to draw and paint it. This is how "Cool Carrot" came to life.

I used my lightpad to reference the pictures' silouette and added details by hand. Materials used are office paper and pencil. For the end result Carta Pura Aquarello 270g paper, Rohrer & Klingner "Lotte" and a set of watercolor pencils by Caran d'Ache. And two Mona water brushes (L,S).

How he came to life.

I like your Cool Carrot. The end result image doesn't open on my computer, but I can imagine it from the previews. Thanks for posting this.

@Astronymus-- That is just too cute!  You really need to come up with a comic strip or even an anime series about "Cool Carrot" now!

Thanks, Frank.

And thanks for the bug report. 😁 I fixed it for you. I guess something was wrong with the picture or how it was embedded into the post. It didn't work on my phone either. Now it does. 🙂

Thank you, Ruth. As tempting as the idea is, my comic drawing times are over since my days at school. I wouldn't even have the time nowadays. I haven't done any major artistic attempts in more than two decades. I'm just starting again. 😄
