"— Ehm... This shouldn't be on alphabetical order, Mr Padilla

— Bullsh* Mr Bravo! The one who told that won't be raining was you! You lead!"

Cartoon is related to a piece of history. The 23rd of April 1521, the armies of the Comuneros were defeated in Villalar by the imperial troops of Charles V. One of the causes were that the infantrymen (Comuneros) had no chance to fight in the mud after the heavy rains and were an easy prey for the cavalrymen of the Emperor. The three leaders Padilla, Bravo and Maldonado were beheaded the next day.

... and another one, done with a Swan 3160 and Platinum Carbon ink. This one has a wet, medium nib with lots of flex!

Here's an old sketch done with a cursive italic nib (P51). It gives nice line weight variation without having to switch pens, but sometimes my hand moves too quickly and the pen starts to skip.
