Created with Diamine Ink option 770. One of 10 Diamine Purples produced exclusively for the Fountain Pens UK Facebook Group. On #bockingford 140 HP smooth these beautiful pinks and blues together with that green sheen just do it for me. The subtleties and range of tone plus the glorious reaction with bleach… I don’t need to bang on any more. As you’re aware, I’m into the exploration and hopefully the attached image illustrates my reasons why. This also demonstrates how fountain pen inks can vary in their colour depending upon the paper surface you choose to use.

And again, "inkquarelle" - I really liked the use of fountain inks as graphic material. Probably not in all scenes will used and have its own characteristics, but here is another experiment "in detail" here: http://lenskiy.org/2019/05/foggy-inky-forest-inkquarelle/

At last! I’ve been able to find time to explore the full potential of Randall Blue Black. As an art journaling ink (writing, painting, drawing) I really do like it. I used 2 KUM Memory point brushes and a Kaweco Steel Sport on Bockingford 200lb rough. Easy fast set up!

You guys both do such amazing work. Very different styles, but still absolutely awesome. Thanks for posting your work for the rest of us to see.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Another interpretation of the work of the photographer and artist Don Hong-Oai. Now shading is probably more suitable for place and time.

Yesterday, a colleague from fountain pens lovers expressed the idea of a "reverse picture"(inversion) of the previous publication and I did it :)

My, this thread has grown! I was busy with work and decided to log back in today.

Here is a piece I was working on for three sessions spread over six months, this was mixed medium of Pointed Pen with India Ink, Uniball 005, Masuyama Needlepoint in a Fosfor Sandalwood. This is Gustav Doré’s illustration from “London: A Pilgrimage “. Doré and Blanchard Jerrold travelled to London and visited night refuges, opium dens, cheap housing, etc. as described by Dickens in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”

Ahmad, are you will not be offended if I say that instead of a lantern it would be more interesting to hang the sun there?

It would even have a deeper meaning.

Thanks.
