Speaking of 'clip' - I do hope this beauty will come clipless - at least for me please! I think that clips just make the caps on Henry's overlays too fussy.........and I think we should find out what this will come with - or without - what do you think? :blink: :hmm1:

Henry doesn't normally put clips on his pens unless specifically asked to do so, he feels that these are not the sort of pens to be carried around in a jacket pocket. Just think of bending down to pick something up, and it slips out onto the floor!

Definitely not a clip! Mine will be carried in proper comfort in a pen case.

 

Putting a clip on Henry's pens is like putting bull bars on a Ferrarri. You can, but why would you want to?!

Last update I had was that photographing the barrel in close up was proving difficult, so we'll have a slight time lag until everyone can eyeball the details. All that shiny silver reflecting back

Sorry for not replying earlier. too pre-occupied with Dexter Airedale being crook. He is now much better and mainly suffering the ravages of steroid hunger with an insatiable appetite, so I have been cooking for him.

I have every sympathy with Dexter as I am in the very same position with steroids - but reducing the dose and hoping it will be OK! No chocolates though - send them all to me please!!!

Latest update - Henry's checking to see if the current "master" is definitive enough to cast from. As we've mentioned before, the master needs to be exaggerated to get the perfect cast, so much measuring, testing, checking and so forth going on.

 

For those coming in late to the saga, this design employs techniques never used before, so Henry and friends are working slowly to hammer out technical issues as they go. Once it's done, we'll have pens that are unique, so it's worth the wait.

This reminds me of an old Mickey Rooney film, where he turns to the pretty girl, and says:-"Why don't we put on the show right here?"

All I can tell you is that the 'script' has been checked for accuracy, and it is good, [not 'perfect' but good] Neal went to a great deal of trouble to get all the images done to the degree of 'detail' that was required for the calligrapher to check the script.
