Someone very kindly sent me a link to this thread, [i haven't looked at it for ages!]

It was an amazing journey, and it seems that most seem very pleased with the end result.

I think the vision came from a higher place. It was a joint effort - Baha'u'llah's verse without which there would BE no Spirit, my obsession with that verse and design ideas that I wasn't sure how to translate onto a pen, Salman Khattak's beautiful calligraphy and inspiration how to fit it on the the barrel, and Henry's genius with the vines to tie the elements together, his inspiration with the laser engraving, and his hands bringing it all to life.

So a verse about creation and love, translated into acts of creation and love, to create a beautiful pen that people are now using with love to create! :cloud9:

Mine is begging for a drink of those new Japanese inks I decided to try. After the boredom of writing out the same verse over and over so I could memorize it, the Spirit will be turned loose to write a lengthy saga for the Persian Diversion while he's on his travels.

Mine is being used - all on its own - and for the very first time all on its own - for a long letter to someone here........ who needs a good sleep inducing tome. :hmm1: GP - prepare for incoming sometime within the next couple of weeks please. :meow:

I'd suggest Beowulf. That was pretty lengthy, as I remember it (which memory is limited by the fact that you need to be awake to remember something).

He'll stay awake for this one. "Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more, say...no...more," to quote Monty Python. ;)
