What poor Henry is going to need help with is tracking you all down and getting nib sizes. If you haven't already done so, PLEASE email him [contact info is on his website] with Spirit of Life in the subject line and your nib choice. The poor man doesn't need to stop working on his pens to track you all down, so let's make it easy on him, yes?

 

Remember, every moment Henry has to spend on the business side of things is time away from pen design and manufacture. Need I say more????

Henry's 'personal trainer' has advised laying down in a darkened room, after an exhausting weekend of entertaining family and friends 'Chez Henry'!!!

He has now recovered from his exertions and will be getting the Assay Marks done as soon as the Underground Industrial dispute is sorted out,[it is not expected to last very long!]

Henry is thinking of signing up to 'Pay-Pal' which may please some people who were wondering how the money side of things will 'pan out', but Bank Money transfers will still be possible for those who would prefer it.

The SOL pens are at the Assay Office being stamped! They've been done 'Early Hall', which means that they will be done 'on the hurry up!' To use the vernacular!

Anyway, we're nearly ready for the nib sizes.........When you're ready!

Wonders shall never cease! The Spirit of Life pens are safely back in Henry's workshop, fully Hall-Marked and ready to go.

For those whom it may concern, Henry is now signed up to Pay-Pal, [He doesn't know how to use it yet!!!] but he has got that far! It will be operational by Monday or Tuesday apparently.

 

So the ball is in your courts now. Names, addresses, [a telephone number Fed-X need to be able to contact you to discover when would be convenient to deliver.] and nib preference.

 

Henry is quite happy to discuss how you would like to pay [bank Transfer for example,] but he will need to be able to contact you personally, so please can you do so 'at your earliest convenience.'

 

Henry has asked me to convey his apologies for the most recent delays, but there has been a death in the family, and other family related problems going on over here.

Waiting on the Paypal. My credit union doesn't do transfers. But they WILL let me pay my Visa with my MasterCard.

 

Keeping an eye on Hurricane Igor. FedEx does many things, but delivering during hurricanes is right out! Fortunately Igor is 5 days from the Leeward Islands and the depression forming in the Carribean is no threat at this time. [Anyone spot the woman who's spending way too much time near the weather radar?]

Due to Henry's lack of knowledge with regard to computers, George [yes, that George! of" Has anyone heard of Henry Simpole" Thread?] has kindly offered to go over to Henry's workshop on Wednesday this week, to organise the communications with the people who are waiting to hear from this end!

So, we are at least getting there!

George and Henry will be going out for a slap-up lunch at a local Fish Restaurant!

Things are starting to move!!! Three SOL pens will be on their way in the next couple of days. A couple more will be leaving shortly after that, as soon as the funds have arrived!
