Iroshizuku Inks in the UK

I'm quite tempted by the Iroshizuku Ink but it seems to be an expensive option if buying from abroad. Does anyone know of a UK supplier where I can buy a bottle?

Who am I kidding! I'm going to buy at least 2!

Thanks

Craig

There isn't anywhere at the moment. I am thinking of sending for some, too.

It's lovely stuff when you do get hold of it, but I too wish there were a UK stockist even if it had to be ordered online. I got mine (one bottle each Asa-Gao and Kiri-Same) from Aesthetic Bay a while back - they were doing a pretty good deal with free shipping, but I think a number of us hit them with orders which cost them more to ship than their profit margins because about a week later they upped all their prices by about 50%!

Wonder if there would be enough demand to get e.g. The Writing Desk (twdpens on the board) to consider stocking it? I did email them about it a while back but apparently the problem is that it would probably have to be ordered in by buying it at retail from Japan - Pilot apparently will not distribute it outside their home country.

I would like to try the inks, too and have the same problem: no vendor within Europe :(

I have ordered most of my inks from German and UK vendors and would be glad if Iroshizuku inks were available here as well.

Well, if you think the UK s at the back of the queue try living in Australia or NZ. :gaah:

The odds of this ink (or any interesting ink) being made available here at a price that doesn't make my head implode (ie reasonable and on a par with other countries including shipping) is about the same as the odds of pigs growing wings.

It's a shame I for another am quite interested in getting a couple of bottles, to start with, lets hope someone within the UK gets the hint and starts stocking Iroshizuku Ink.

And how can this be, because he is the Kwisatz Haderach.

If Pilot won't distribute outside Japan, it's going to be hugely expensive for suppliers to buy at retail and sell for a profit. :crybaby:

I've heard great things about this brand of ink and would love to try some.

As I recall the postage is discounted for more than one bottle.
