What have you used with the Kiwaguro

Hi,

I consider you to be very fortunate that you have not encountered an Event Horizon when mixing other inks with the nano potion. An inky version of 'Russian Roulette' that's not worth it. Even mixing inks from the same brand may have very different reaction with the nano stuff. YMMV, but I strongly caution against mixing with it. (Didn't want to rain on your parade, but...)

I have zero knowledge of chemistry, which explains my brazen foolhardiness when it comes to mixing substances.

Hello,

I have a fairly good understanding of chemistry, but I am still profoundly foolhardy when it comes to mixing inks. A difficulty with inks is that they are proprietary formulations, so there's a fairly large 'unknown' aspect to the make-up of FP ink.

I documented and Posted my experience of mixing with the BlBk nano, then realised there was no pattern to determine what was 'safe', so the only conclusion I came to was to avoid the nano inks if at all possible; and so dropped the sampling.

Now I just chime-in as I see fit to pass along my experience based on a fair few samples. No 'I heard it from a friend', or rumours, or scuttlebutt. Samples that anyone can repeat, and see for themselves. Or not.

I've been using both Kiwaguro and Seibuko almost exclusively in my Lamy 2000 and various Safaris. No problems. Love 'em.

I can confirm that Kiwaguro is permanent. I managed to stain two shirts with this ink and repeated washing haven't made much of a dent.
