from the scan and your description, it looks and sound fascinating! little feathering, great shading, grey-purplish black... man, that's awesome!

 

when i was reading your post i remembered i had purchased a set of CM calligraphy nibs that came with a bottle of ink, so i ran to check it. alas! it's blue
