My Duofold is my all-out prettiest

http://i771.photobucket.com/albums/xx356/richardandtracy/ParkerDuofoldsmallv3.jpg

And my sub $120 prettiest is a Parker 61 Classic with a Burgundy colour (no photo) in very good nick. I want a Custom in that colour, but can't find one at an acceptable price.

Regards,

Richard.

My most beautiful pen is a Dunhill-Namiki, which I have yet to find information on. Under $120, an Eversharp Skyline blue moire(I think that's what it's called)

My prettiest at any price: Pelikan Polar Lights

Prettiest at under $120: Sandal Brown Van Gogh Midi (thanks to Bryant it came in at $119 a few months back). That is it in the picture to the left.

Most of my pens aren't what I'd call lookers, so I guess the best looking one I have is my Waterman Exception with the silver trim.

Cordialement.

These:

Danitrio Takumi Akikazu no Tsuki (my "moon" pen with haiku.)

Danitrio Octagon Larkspur and Ladybirds (my custom pens by master artisan, Mr. Masanori Omote.)

(custom, limited edition pen for the FPN Danitrio Fellowship by master artisan, Mr. Tatsuya Todo, video graciously made by Shinchan4810.)

Danitrio Densho, I believe it is called Bara no Karakusa (Rose in Arabesque), by master artisan, Koichiro Okazaki. Technically this isn't quite mine yet, but it is in the process. This is winedoc's picture on his photobucket account, be careful or you will be jumping into the Danitrio rabbit hole, too!

and finally,

Nakaya Neo Standard (my custom Nakaya with a ladybug in yakoh maki-e on the section.)

Scribere est agere.

To write is to act.

Probably my Wahl Doric or my Parker True Blue.

I'd rather spend my money on pens instead of shoes and handbags.

Most beautiful at any price? I can't decide between these:

S. T. Dupont Vertigo II

Stipula DaVinci Cracked Ice

The sword is mightier than the pen. However, swords are now obsolete whereas pens are not.

My musk green Van Gogh Midi. It is mostly a dark forest green, but it has orange, yellow, and black swirls and streaks. :cloud9: I love it!

Edit to say: My green Esterbrook SJ is very close in the running.

In terms of more expensive pens, here's one that got away from me on eBay. . . .

To me, that's practically the definition a "classic" fountain pen. B)

And it was a factory stub to boot.

Lovely pen, my favorite so far.

Do you know what model it is?

Big, black and shiny with gold appointments, whereabouts and manufacture as yet unknown so not yet mine. But 'twill come...

When you're good at it, it's really miserable.

My most beautiful pen : Caran d'ache Madison(old model, with epée clip). I bought it just because I loved the appearance, slender and elegant.. I (secretly) call it "Madame la comtesse", especially when it behaves very picky.

Most beautiful pen under $120 : Pilot Prera. Looks very similar to Pelikan M205's(especially the white one).

Because lies sound so nice

and like soil to seed

it goes to casting my fears aside...

My Signum Nova in Cinnamon with vermeil trim, is my most beautiful pen. Pictures don't do it justice, but here's one I did a while back:

What makes it even better, is the fact that I won it from Empire Pens by doing the Stylus crossword puzzle. :lol:

I like fairly traditional looking pens, so I guess it would be the following:

Less than $120, my Sigma Style in Shell, above $120 my Conway Stewart Dandy lever filler in Bronze.

Tough choices, I think even the humble Parker 45 is a very beautiful object as of course is the 51 but as you say Junoro, beauty is subjective.

The prettiest... hard to choose. Here's the candidates in my tribe, all cost me WELL below $100 (because I can fix 'em myself):

A Wyvern (I think...);

http://dirck.delint.ca/Wyvern.jpg

A Waterman Thorobred (that's how they spelled it);

http://dirck.delint.ca/Waterman%20Thorobred.jpg

A Parker Vacumatic;

A Sheaffer Sentinel;

...and it's not pretty, but this Packard is quite interesting.
