They're not my most expensive, but to me they're the most beautiful of all I have.

My Sheaffer Balance Marine (OS) and Snorkel Vermillion. I love just looking at them. The Marine is the best writer I own.

Why thank you. :)

Yes, if I had one those Amber Stip's, I would agree with you, I'm sure. That is my one main grail pen above all others that I hope to have some day.

Most beautiful in my collection: Pelikan tortoise M400 (not the white kind, the dark)

Most beautiful under $120: Aurora Ipsilon in bordeaux

Yeah, I know, I don't have a lot of real fancy pens.

Real hard - I fancy the look of all my pens - they are beautiful in very different ways. But right now I'd say:

Up to $120 Pilot M90 - yes I got it for $120

Over $120 Yard O Led Viceroy Victorian or Conway Stewart Dandy or Aurora Talentum or Pilot Bamboo

The green one get's my vote for most beautiful in his post so far... the simple elegance of a balance is beyond compare. ;)

51 Flighter. I also like the silver pearl Vacs. The barrels remind me of city skyline at night.

It would have to be these Imperial Vacumatics.

I'd have to say the most beautiful pen I own is my green Esterbrook J. The color and the striated celluloid, plus the corrosion-free stainless furniture and black jewels, make the J more beautiful any my other celluloid pens, and my celluloid pens completely overpower the plainer ones like my Parker 51, Sheaffer Imperial, and so forth. Close second behind the Esterbrook: a green Dupont double-ender; it's a yellower green than the Esterbrook, and has a "cracked ice" pattern instead of the striated Esterbrook style, but I don't like the celluloid color as well, plus the furniture is brassed and corroded a bit.

Now, if I had my blue striped Skyline working... :puddle:

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

Oh deary me, this is like asking a mother to pick her favourite child! I would have to say my most beautiful pen is either my Visconti Opera Club in green/white opaline or the understated elegance of my Pilot M90. For pens under $120, the prettiest in my collection would probably be my Waterman Harmonie in blue. Of course, these opinions are entirely subjective and prone to change on a fairly regular basis.

Ah, this is very hard. It would either have to by my Fuliwen "Satisfactory" or my Grifos "Eclipse".

Sailor 1911 (full size) with duo-tone rhodium nib in EF.

Understated elegance in one of the smoothest, most enjoyable nibs and pens ever made.

And without a certain white splat on the cap (less brittle too). That said... I do have a MB146 in platinum trim in the mail :cloud9:

In Rotation: MB 146 (EF), Noodler's Ahab bumblebee, Edison Pearl (F), Sailor ProGear (N-MF)

In storage: MB 149 (18k EF), TWSBI 540 (B), ST Dupont Olympio XL (EF), MB Dumas (B stub), Waterman Preface (ST), Edison Pearl (0.5mm CI), Noodler's Ahab clear, Pilot VP (M), Danitrio Densho (F), Aurora Optima (F), Lamy 2000 (F), Visconti Homo Sapiens (stub)

For each his own of course, and I don't want to offend anyone, but I can't understand what is pretty or gorgeous about the kitchy pens with ornamentals (the clips and the"artwork"'). So Liberace to me. I thought a comment like this is in place where people tend to either say "wow, gorgeous pen" or say nothing. This topic is really about different tastes isn't it?
