Diamine Midnight

This is one of my favourite inks: it looks like velvet on the page from a wide nib, which also brings out a subtle red sheen.

 

The darker, more dignified big brother of Majestic Blue.

Another dark blue from Diamine.

Actually very close to Majestic when you don't look too closely.

Midnight is a little lighter and misses the red touch of Majestic completely.

I didn't do the water test, since it's the same as with every Diamine Ink: not waterproof, it washes right off.

Very helpful review for someone deciding whether to purchase.
